We collect only what the program needs to support you:

• Account and identity. Your name and email address, used to sign you in and identify your records.
• Program information. Details tied to your participation, such as your program phase, housing assignment, accountability and recovery status, drug-test results, and financial balance or payment arrangements with the program.
• Voice check-ins. Short audio recordings you submit as daily check-ins, which your case manager listens back to.
• Location. Your precise location is used only when you start a healing stop or treatment session, to confirm you are at the expected place for a limited time window. We do not access your location when no session is active.
• Photos. Images you choose to attach to maintenance requests, weekly schedule uploads, or healing stops.
• Device basics. A push notification token (so we can send program reminders) and basic technical information needed to operate the app.

• To deliver the program and keep your records current.
• To process accountability check-ins and verify your location during healing-stop or treatment sessions.
• To coordinate housing, maintenance, and scheduling.
• To track program, recovery, and financial status with program staff.
• To send you reminders and notifications about your check-ins and sessions.
• To provide support and to protect the safety of participants and staff.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Information about your recovery and program participation is sensitive. We limit who can see it using role-based access controls, store it on secured infrastructure, and use it only to operate the program you are enrolled in.

We share your information only in these ways:

• With ETC program staff (such as your case manager and peer coaches) who support your participation.
• With service providers who run the app on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, including our hosting and database provider (Supabase), push-notification delivery (Apple and Expo), and email delivery (Resend).
• When required by law or to protect the safety of a participant, staff member, or the public.

We keep your information while you are enrolled in the program and for as long as needed for program records and legal obligations. When you request account deletion, we remove your personal information from program records after staff review, except where we are required to retain it.

• Access and correction. You can ask your case manager to review or correct your information.
• Account deletion. You can request deletion from inside the app at Settings → Account → Delete Account.
• Device permissions. You control location, microphone, camera, and notification access in your device settings at any time. Turning these off may disable related features.

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls that restrict data to authorized staff, and private file storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable safeguards.

The app is intended for adults enrolled in the Empowered to Change program. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated through the program.
